Successfully Expanding Your Herd

Hiring new employees can be a difficult and arduous process, but it doesn’t have to be. Sometimes you need to expand your herd in order to help your company to continue to grow. In order to do that properly, you need guidelines in place to make the assimilation for new employees as smooth as possible.

  1. Teach them your company’s history. In order for them to be a true part of your team, they need to know all about the company they’re working for. This will also help them feel more a part of the herd.
  2. Help them network. An important component of being a good part of the herd is having a solid foundation of professional support around you. Make sure that your new employees get plugged in with the right people.
  3. Check-in with them often. Giving regular feedback to your new employees will ensure that they are settling in well and that you are regularly evaluating their performance.

If you commit to doing these three tips in the beginning, you’ll set yourself and your new hire up for success.

Lead Boldy. Succeed Brilliantly.

Leadership is not just a role. It’s continuous journey of growth and impact.
