Where To Find The Right People For Your Company

Last year, I was able to sit down and chat with Vinnie Fischer, of Total CEO Live, and discuss some of the ways you can find the right people for your company. Or, to speak more my language, where to find the right bulls for your herd.

The number one thing to keep in mind is that you can’t have too many bulls in your herd, but you can have the wrong bulls – the misfit bulls.

Here are three simple tips to find the right bulls for your herd:

  1. Ask yourself: are they compelled to do the job?
  2. Do they behave in accordance to your business’s core values?
  3. Are you assessing them for the job you want filled?

When you find your herd, you need to continue to be the best bull you can be to lead your herd. You can do this by demonstrating your power in a way that helps other people, as well as surrounding yourself with a complementary herd. We all fail, it’s just whether or not we bounce back from that failure, or splat. It’s all about how you deal with it and bounce back from it to continue to lead your herd in the right direction.

I’ll end this post by going back to what I always say, “you have the herd you deserve.” If you need help with any of this, then I encourage you to take advantage of my Culture Index Survey and let me help you find the right bulls for your herd.
