We all have the potential to be powerful and passionate, no matter what the role is. Your job as the leader is to make sure that you are harnessing the collective strength of your herd. You control and are responsible for what you have.
There should be both intention and focus from your herd, much like a team. You need to learn how to get the most from your herd as a team, not just as individuals. Look at each of your herd’s “bull persona,” because it will show itself in different ways, whether it be their OCD organization or their creative ideas. You need to understand that bull persona, and use it to your advantage in just the right place in your organization.
Understanding that persona, and putting it in the right place in your organization has tremendous power. Wouldn’t we all rather focus on our strengths rather than our weaknesses? Making sure that your herd is working together as a team, in the best possible positions in order to accentuate their strengths, is setting you up for a very successful herd.
